Email address and password (used for registration and login)
Email verification to confirm account ownership

When you add a transaction, we collect:

Amount
Shop name
Category
Mode of payment
(Optional) Attached image (e.g., bill photo)

2.3 Profile Information

Profile photo (optional)
App preferences and settings

2.4 Device Permissions Used

To support functionality, the app may request:

Camera Access: To take pictures of bills/receipts
Storage Access: To save or import/export images and data
Internet Access: To sync your data with Firebase

3. Where and How We Store Your Data

User Login Info: Firebase Authentication
Transaction Details: Firebase Firestore Database
Attached Images: Currently stored only on the user's device (locally)

Note: The app includes a feature to upload images to Firebase Storage, but this is not currently active. All images remain on your device.

To authenticate and verify users

To allow offline storage of attached receipts/images

We do not:

Use your data for ads or marketing

Delete your account with All Data

This app is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used this app, contact us for immediate removal of the account and data.

If Firebase Storage integration becomes active in future versions, we will:

Notify you clearly in the app
Update this Privacy Policy
Request your permission before any image uploads

9. Terms of Use

By using this app, you agree to:

Provide accurate account information
Use the app for personal finance tracking only
Not misuse features or attempt unauthorized access
Keep your credentials secure
